Exhibition: Design in beweging – April 16 to November 9, 2025
We’re proud to share that our creative founder Nienke Hoogvliet is part of the group exhibition “Design in beweging” (Design in Motion) at Cuypershuis Roermond, a showcase of six contemporary designers who bridge tradition and innovation through craftsmanship.
Nienke presents her pioneering work with sustainable materials like seaweed and fish skin, exploring the long-term value of conscious material choices. Her thoughtful designs highlight how nature and design can coexist in harmony. On view is the award-winning mini rug she designed, made with Dutch wool and dyed with Zeefier seaweed dye, which recently received the Green Concept Award 2025.
Alongside designers such as Simone Post and Studio Truly Truly, Nienke is also nominated for the Harrie Tillie Prize 2025, an award for outstanding young talent in design.
