Enhance your business with Zeefier's sustainable, seaweed-based dyes.

We’re pleased to take part in the Fibershed Innovation Hotspot at Material District Utrecht 2025—a key event for professionals working with material innovation.

This year’s theme, “How can you build circularly?”, highlights the value of renewable materials and local collaboration in building future-proof, circular value chains. As part of the Fibershed network, Zeefier was featured, alongside other organisations, by contributing with practical, scalable solutions for circular production.

At the Innovation Hotspot, visitors could explore seaweed-based dyeing solutions developed by Zeefier, alongside other locally sourced, low-impact materials. These are not concept pieces—they’re functional innovations built for industry. We’re proud to work with partners across the value chain, from farmers and processors to textile producers and designers.

Zeefier’s approach aligns with the principles of the circular R-ladder: using renewable resources, reducing waste, and offering biodegradable end-of-life options.

We were presented alongside other material innovators, including Enschede Textielstad, The Knitwit Stable, RietGoed, Hollands Wol Collectief, and Wad van Waarde.
